These terms are the agreement between you and Vectorsoft (“we”, “us”) for the HyperRedact app. By installing or using HyperRedact you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use HyperRedact on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent or sub-licence the app, and you may not reverse engineer it except to the extent the law gives you that right regardless of this clause.
We claim no rights over anything you open or produce in HyperRedact. The app runs entirely on your device and we receive no copy of your files. You are responsible for having the right to handle the documents you process.
HyperRedact offers an auto-renewing subscription, available weekly, monthly or yearly. The price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm.
Prices may change. We will tell you before a change takes effect, and a price increase does not apply to you until you accept it, as Apple requires.
HyperRedact removes marked content by rebuilding each page without it, and then checks the written file for the terms you removed. That check is the strongest assurance we know how to give, and it is why we built the app the way we did.
It is not a substitute for looking at the result. Automatic detection cannot find what it was never shown — a name inside a photograph, a number split across two lines, information that is sensitive only in context. Deciding what must be removed is your judgement, not the app's. Before you release a document to anyone, open it and read it.
HyperRedact is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, business or reputation, arising out of your use of HyperRedact — including loss arising from information that was disclosed because it was not removed. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where you deal as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
You may stop using HyperRedact and delete it at any time. We may end this licence if you breach these terms materially. Your subscription, if you have one, continues to be governed by Apple's terms until it ends.
Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to provide support for HyperRedact. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim about the app being faulty, or about it infringing someone's rights, is ours to answer and not Apple's, to the extent the law allows.
We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page with its date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction — except where the law of your own country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
